Outdoor activities Europe
Line tours to the Pyrenees and Alps
Outdoor Life Europe is for those of you who want to get out of the classroom!
…..and get out on a trip with good friends. We do a bit like Askeladden in the fairy tale, - pack our bags and head out into the forest, up into the mountains and into the plains to see what awaits us there. Along the way we learn everything we need to survive outdoors; orientation, being able to dress for all kinds of weather, making different campsites, first aid and cooking on a campfire and primus.
Early in the fall, we'll be interrailing south to the Pyrenees. There, both climbing and glacier courses await, and we'll definitely return home with lots of new learning, great experiences, and the feeling of having known each other for a long time.
Back in Norway, a canoe trip awaits you with Friluftsliv Norge. There you will learn how to handle a canoe both on still water and in a river. We will also go on a trip to western Norway to sail along the coast for a few days together.
Winter is coming to us a little before Christmas. It's time for mountain hikes, kiteboarding, snow cave/igloo tours, cabin tours, stargazing, ice climbing and much more. We're also going into the forest to spend the night under a big fir tree, make a big fire and maybe watch the northern lights in the night sky.
A little before Easter we're going to the Alps. Switzerland, Austria or Italy. We'll find out and decide together. We're regular guests at a tourist cabin, and spend all our energy on long slopes and great views. We'll have dinner ready in the evening and breakfast with a packed lunch in the morning. Luxury life!
The goal of such a program is that you will be able to learn everything you need to plan and carry out large and small trips later in life. Both here at home in Norway, but also abroad. Thorough training in basic skills, and good knowledge of many special skills are the very foundation. But perhaps best of all, - we can guarantee you many unforgettable nature experiences that will inspire new adventures after the year is over.
