In Hallingdal, located halfway between Oslo and Bergen, nature is magical and winter is guaranteed to snow. From our free-spirited folk high school you can stroll up to Golbakken with skis on your shoulders, take a moonlight walk on the cross-country ski trail with good friends or hop on the school bus for half an hour for powder skiing in Hemsedal. Breathe out and take a gap year with mountain hikes on the Hardangervidda plateau, kiting on Finse, ski trips into Golsfjellet, airy gliding in Hallingskarvet ski center, ice climbing in Golsjuvet or steep trail cycling in Nesbyen.
