Balance Yoga, skiing and personal development
Yoga, skiing and personal development
The Balance Line is for those of you who want to use your body and mind based on who you are. Here we research the whole of being human and focus on how physical activity, diet, thoughts and emotions are important for a good life.
Line trip to Tenerife

This is what you learn and experience with us.
This is the line for those who are seeking balance in their bodies and lives. Through joy, play and laughter, we explore many exciting topics together.
Yoga, meditation and pilates
Activities that make you more flexible and strengthen you physically and mentally. We give you thorough training in different yoga styles, meditation and breathing techniques. You will have the opportunity to develop your own independent yoga practice. You will learn techniques that promote calm, focus and concentration that you can use for the rest of your life. A unique opportunity to get to know yourself better.
Positive psychology
Here we explore the good life and look at your human strengths, resources and talents. What creates well-being, good health and personal growth for you? You will learn useful techniques for coping and how to deal with stress.
Challenges bring security
Maybe it's a good idea to get out of your comfort zone every now and then? We'll be doing activities like surfing, climbing, canoeing, a hill park, snow bathing, longboarding, trampoline, gymnastics, horseback riding, dancing, martial arts, slacklining and SUP.
Natural medicine
How to take care of your own body and health? We learn various techniques within massage, aromatherapy and natural medicine.
Clean food
We look at how food affects both our bodies and our emotions.
Hiking pleasure
We enjoy beautiful nature and focus on positive experiences and moments. Nature provides a great starting point for reflection and good conversations. "Walk the talk".
Snow, skis and boards
At Hallingdal Folkehøgskule we have a playful winter wonderland right on our doorstep. This provides fantastic opportunities for both skiing and snowboarding, not least in Hallingdal's many ski resorts. We are good at teaching at all levels from beginner to experienced. The goal is a sense of mastery with the opportunity to develop yourself in a safe environment.
Immersion weeks
- In the fall we are looking for great experiences in Hallingdal and Valdres. We are staying for a week at Nøsen Yoga and Mountain Hotel.
- In November we travel to the sun and warmth of Tenerife with yoga as the main theme.
- A week of skiing and spa in Geilo. We stay in cabins and visit Vestlia Resort
- Joint school trip to Italy.
